It’s been a while since we heard from Slang-G here on #Smiley’sWorld. But I managed to catch up with him recently and guy was talking business only. He’s long moved out of the big city, Pretoria. He’s now decided to work from home, “the environment was consuming and I was starting to feel as if I was losing my purpose”, says Slang-G. We all know that being in the big city, whether it is Jozi or Pretoria, the hustle tends to tire you out as you work overtime to produce the best for your audience.

He’s since released a song titled ‘Isaiah56 v12’ that was released on Datafilehost, which was a great song but he had to pull the plug on it as it attracted some legal attention regarding the sample on it. But fast forward a month or so later, Slang-G is already working on some new material which is expected to drop this September. The song will be titled ‘AIR’ and Slang-G is optimistic this will be his first official release into the music industry and it’ll be accompanied by a video that they shot mid-August already. He also believes that people will bond with the song and he himself has no words to describe it too.

One thing that has changed about him is how he has grown in terms of how he handles the music business. But as for the production and hustle part of things, he’s still going in hard and focused as he and his management and marketing team are now preparing for the big ‘AIR’ launch, “It’s going to be beautiful”, he says.

We can expect big things from Slang-G in the next 6 to 12 month of 2017/18, such as Television appearances, Radio & Magazine interviews, live performances and tons of music releases. “I think the time has come for ‘We Classic Music Group’ and Slang-G to take over the music industry”, he points out. He also explains how he and his record label are working harder and smarter, also saying that their moves are now calculated too. He is very excited to share this musical journey in his life with all his supporters and believes it is going to be something very amazing to experience and witness. His closes off the conversation by saying that he’s in the best shape of his life and is wiser too. And is feeling confident about the team he’s working with for making everything happen.
