Malcolm Moya aka 'Mal-G' is a rapper coming all the way from Thulamahashe, Mpumalanga who's got the passion for music, notably Hip Hop music, started rapping about 5 years ago just at the tender age of 14. His passion for this art came about when he began reciting other artist's lyrics and then after rapping along to the song with the words in front of him. By doing so he developed a flow and skill of rapping like most good artists do now. Mal-G later only started writing his own lyrics from the top of his head, thereafter he fell in love with the art of writing his own material.
Soon after he started rapping and freestyling for a few friends at school and home, he was convinced by his peers to not give up on the art considering how he was doing it. This individual has been influenced by a multitude of artists internationally like Jay-Z, Tupac, Eminem and of course Notorious B.I.G.
He also does state that he listens to a whole lot more artists than mentioned above so to develop his lyrical skill and writing style.
His latest project that he's working on besides a freestyle that he dropped recently is a song titled '2las state of mind', which he has received well deserved attention for in his hood.
The song was produced by himself and Candisonic, whereby himself Mal-G brought the sample and Candisonic finished it off with a few instrumentals.
This young individual sees himself accomplishing a variety of goals within his musical journey in the next 5 years with the hope of making his parents proud too.
As a part of growing himself as a brand, Mal-G has worked with an artist called 'One Eyed Willy' which he says "Is the biggest artist he's ever worked with in terms of his skills. Another person who Mal-G has worked with is an individual who has been producing some of his material from the beginning is a guy called 'Thabo Ngwenya' better known as 'Teebo'.
Malcolm also claims that this year has been big for hip hop in general and says that he's currently listening to DR DRE's 'Straight Outta Compton' surprise album, J.Cole's '2014 Forest Hills Drive, Joey Baddas and Kendrick Lamar's 'To Pimp A Butterfly'.
As an MC he says that ''He wouldn't change anything in the industry'' as he understands  that hip hop music is good for the clubs but he feels that other rappers shouldn't live in the same sphere of always rapping about the typical things such as Girls, Money, and Designer clothes but about actually putting effort in the raps that actually define who you are in the hip hop genre.
This guy believes that he's at his highest level in terms of achievements because he too understands that there are challenges and negativity involved when you are still coming up which he turned around and people now give him the thumbs up for his hard work.
His advice to everyone out there would be to "Always follow what you believe in if you have the passion for something and go for it, we're all blessed with something or another"
